Finally done!!!! One more item off my list of things to make!
I don't even.. this took me so long to finish I was losing my mind a little, needle felting all the blue lines and the grey details on the helmet @_@ She's pretty big.. about as tall as Skull Kid with the helmet on, maybe even a little taller (~18 inches). She has wire running through her body for stability and for some poseability. Her hair is made of yarn that has been brushed out, and the details are all needle felted directly onto the crocheted surfaces. Her arms are also completely needle felted because I didn't think I could crochet thin arms and shape them the way I wanted. AND SHE HAS FINGERS. Always my least favorite part to work on. I drew blood a couple of times stabbing myself while working on the fingers -_- As I mentioned before, this was probably the most extensive needle felting I've ever done. Many needles gave their lives for Midna to be completed >_> (I think I broke like.. 6 needles.. ).
Midna turned out larger than I was planning, which might make things complicated when I work on Wolf Link I have already bought the yarn for him, though I probably won't start on him right away. I have too many school-related things coming up Anyway, hope you guys like her!
I'm also entering her into 's current contest: Zelda!
