I figured I'd take a group shot of all the Zelda characters I've made so far (though Young Link is still unfinished)! It'll give you guys an idea of the sizes of these guys in proportion to each other too. So many more Zelda characters to make
Thank you so much for stopping by and for the comment! Shaping really just takes practice, so I'm sure you'll get good at it before you know it! Best of luck to you, and I hope my patterns work out alright! ^_^
you know, if you don't already you should seriously consider selling your work - although I am not certain of the copywrite, you do a magnificent job- especially with proportions. much more professional than I could estimate many people accomplish.
Yeah, I don't think I'm allowed to sell my work since it's of copyrighted characters. I know a lot of people do, but I would rather avoid it That's also part of the reason why I post patterns for media amigurumi for free. I also have no time for commissions and crochet just for fun! I'm afraid that if I start dabbling in the business side of it, it may take the fun out of crocheting!
Well, that's very true. I actually just saw a picture someone did, comic style, about how they wanted to be a manga artist at age teen-ish, and turned out to be buried in drawing/paperwork years later. >>'' I think my hands would hurt trying to crochet anything except periodically. I can't last too long..
Your work never ceases to amaze and inspire me This is a collection to make any Zelda fan drool, and I know you put enough work into every stitch that you deserve the souls fans will be offering up in honor of these masterpieces
love love these!! have been a LoZ fan for YEARS (played it NES) ... my daughter is now a HUGE LoZ fan and shared the link to this with her.... would love it you had any of the patterns for these (esp. Link, which is her fave) - they are amazing!! Thanks so much for sharing!!!
Thank you so much! I wish I had patterns for these! I usually find that I can't write out patterns for more complicated works like these since a lot of the shaping comes at the end, like how I sew the pieces together. Really sorry about that!
