Garfield and Pooky: Crocheted Garfield and Pooky by aphid777

I do not have patterns for Garfield and Odie because they were just too complicated and I ended up winging many parts > < However, many of you requested a pattern for Pooky! So, here it is!

My only request is that you do not sell this pattern or the finished product (since I do not own this character). Also, I ask that you give credit to me for the pattern I have provided if you decide to use it in any way. I will remove the pattern should any incidents occur, and we don't want that :) Happy crocheting!

Edit: Also, if there are any parts that don't make sense or seem off, do let me know! :)

Pooky Pattern:

As usual, please credit me should you use or alter this pattern since it takes me a lot of time to figure out and type these up and please be respectful and don't sell the finished product since I don't own this character!  Thank you

If you would like to make a donation to fuel my yarn addiction and for the free patterns, I would be ever-so grateful! :dummy:

Can you tell me where to get the Garfield and Odie patterns?  I'd love to make these for my daughter, I had made her a bunch of stuff animals while pregnant but due to a long story we lost everything we owned except for our clothes and pictures (which I had to take out of frames to be able to take with us).  She lost all her toys and stuffed animals that were mine from when I first started getting them and all the ones that had been bought for her since she was born.............  I am now at a point where I can start replacing all she lost, so I'd like to make these for her, please, if you could tell me where to get the patterns so I can.

Thank you!!  It's been a while and I worked on them on and off, so it's hard to say how many hours they took ^^;  Definitely many, many hours though since I made mistakes and had a re-do parts several times >_<

I think that should be enough.  You can slip stitch where the instructions say to FO (fasten off)

Hi, First of all, thanks for sharing. I'm trying with pooky and i have one question. If head finish with 18sc and body with 30sc, how do you sew body and head?? I don't know...

:iconaphid777:
aphid777 Featured By Owner Sep 27, 2013  Hobbyist Artisan Crafter
Hello!  I guess when I sew pieces together, I don't necessarily sew edge to edge.  Since the opening is larger on the body, I would sew the body opening over the head opening at an equal distance all the way around.  I hope that makes sense.  I never really learned "proper technique" or anything like that so sorry if it's a little unconventional ^^;
