So I'm going back and finishing stuff I started ^^; I don't have much time to start new things and I'm still deciding on what project to take on next anyway (Yes, I've still gotta go back and work on Link, but I'm having a bit of a block at the moment).

This was originally going to be a baby dinosaur.. then a lizard/gecko.. then it looked too boring so I added a shell and voila.. we have turtle :D I usually don't make crocheted stuff for kids, but a classmate of mine just had a son last year and requested a pair of shorts, which I was unsuccessful at completing >_< Props to people who can make clothing.. I wish I could but it gets so tedious and I have no idea how to gauge/design human-sized clothing.. so thus.. turtle :meow:

Oh my gosh, what a cute turtle! :D I love how it went through so many transitions before becoming a turtle. xD

I hope you can get over your block. (I know I'm commenting super late, but if you're still having a bit of a block, I hope you can conquer it! I can't wait to see what else you do with your Link amigurumi!)

I find clothing to be a pain without a pattern, personally. ;-; I am trying to crochet more clothing, but it's definitely not easy! So I agree with you there.

Thanks a lot! :)  I did bring Link home with me for break so hopefully I'll get a chance to work on him some more ^^;  As for clothing, I so wish I had the patience.. for some reason, I'd just rather make toys haha

Good thing your classmate is going to take care of him...because that shell doesn't look like it'd protect him from any predators Fear Skull and Crossbones :O (Eek) Someone called an ambulance! Men in Black Jark in a jar.

...That is why we amigurumi artists stick to easy "gauges" lol. Too big? No prob! Down a hook size! My aunt commissioned me for a few hats and I freaked out lol...

Adorable work as usual!

I know right??  I once tried to make a beanie for my cousin and it turned out to be infant-sized >_<  I'm such a failure at clothing.. haha

And thanks very much!
