Eevee: [link]

I'm not going to lie.. I made Flareon because I wanted to make something fluffy >_> The work ended up being a pain, but all worth it.. because who can resist the fluffy? :D Now that I'm on that path, I'm hoping to make the other Eevee evolutions in the near future (well, probably up to umbreon and espeon only since I'm not familiar with the last ones) :D

~ 11" tall and 12" from nose to tail :)

Eyes are made of felt and sewn on as usual; nose is needle felted to give it more of a 3-D effect

do you have the pattern for this? I know that it would be a great seller!
(I'd buy the first one if you do sell the pattern)

Wow, that's crazy that that fluff is yarn! What yarn did you use that gets that fluffy looking? And also, may I ask what yarn you use for the body? I'm just starting amigurumi/crocheting. I know I'm not going to start out with things like these, but just wondering if you have any tips for beginners? Thank you!

Thank you for the +watch and favs! I actually just used regular acrylic yarn and brushed it out for the fluffy effect :) I use Red Heart Super Saver yarn for the most part since it's not too expensive, and then just buy whatever other colors I need in other brands. I like Vanna's Choice too.

When I first started out, I just crocheted squares and scarves for a while. Once you've learned all the basic stitches (it's mostly just single crochet stitches for amigurumi), just practice with tons of patterns. The more you practice, the more you pick up on! There are a lot of free patterns online if you don't want to buy any yet too :)

Hope I answered your questions. Feel free to ask me any other questions you might have! :)

I'm practicing with Super Saver yarn too, it was super cheap at my craft store so I figured I'd start with it.

Thanks for the tips! I've just gotten the hang of doing squares and such now, without making them lopsided (I often forgot to add a stitch at the end. Right now I'm practicing other kinds of stitches and slowly learning how to read patterns. :)

Thanks for everything, you're very helpful!
